Perranporth Reading Curriculum
Novel study happens everyday for 15 minutes. This is a chance for the class to listen to a book that perhaps they might not read by themselves. KS2 children complete five reading sessions a week. On Mondays, we delve deeper in to our novel and answer various questions on what they have read the week before. On a Friday, children complete a comprehension paper. The class teacher will go through the answers with the class and pupils develop their comprehension skills. For the remainder of the week, pupils look at different texts.
